DESH BHAGAT RADIO CONDUCTS AUDITIONS AT DESH BHAGAT UNIVERSITY

Department of Media, Entertainment and Film Technology of Desh Bhagat University organized Auditions by Desh Bhagat Radio (90.4 FM). The auditions were conducted for the fields of singing, commercial ads, anchoring, acting and script writing etc. Over 200 students from different streams of the university participated in this programme and gave auditions for different jobs. While inaugurating the event, Pro Vice Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University Dr. Shalini Gupta said that it was a golden chance for the young students to try their luck by exhibiting their talents in the field of media and entertainment. It will give the students practical's training. The experts who conducted the auditions and acted as judges included renowned radio and television personalities like Mr. Bobby Sandhu (Anchor at ETC & Director of Ads); Mrs. Sumit Sandhu (Astt. Director of Ads.); Ms. Richa Sharma (Consultant Desh Bhagat Radio), Ms. Ritu Ghai (Content and Music Consultant, Desh Bhagat Radio); Mr. Nikhil (Station Producer, Desh Bhagat Radio) and Mr. Yogesh (Station Engineer, Desh Bhagat Radio). The students enjoyed the programme and felt elated with the different activities. Desh Bhagat University Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh and Pro Chancellor Tajinder Kaur sent their good wishes for the success of the programme saying that the field of

Media is very vide and students who excel in this field can attain glorious heights in their lives. The Radio Station officials expressed satisfactions at the performance of the students and shortlisted a large number of them for various jobs.
