PROCESS

One step in the process. Usually, only one arrow goes out of the box

DOCUMENT

FILE or RECORD

DECISION

Decision based on a question. More than one arrow goes out of the diamond, each one showing the direction the process takes for a given answer to the question.Offen the answers are "Yes" and "No".

Link to another page or another flow chart. The same symbol on the other page indicates that the flow continues there.
Off-page reference

CONTINUE Link to another part of the flow chart. The same symbol on the same page indicates that the flow continues there.
On-page reference

DELAY or WAIT

FLOW DIRECTION

Direction of flow from one step or decision to another.

Continue symbol generally use for START.

START and STOP / END

Continue symbol generally use for PREPARATION to next process.

Continue symbol generally use for END.
