Sandeep Arya Project

Sandeep Arya from the Greater Noida Institute of Technology acknowledges those who helped complete his project on an electronic voting machine (EVM). The EVM uses an 8051 microcontroller connected to four keys, a 7-segment display, and other components to increment a resistor and display the vote total for each key pressed. It is intended to increase awareness about actual voting machines. However, it is limited to displaying a maximum of nine votes due to the single 7-segment display used per candidate.

LOGIC

The main logic behind the project is that when the user presses the key for their desired vote then there is a increment in the particular resistor and then it displays through the 7 segments. There is a particular resistor which is set for all the keys. There is also a master key which is for overloging of the votes.

LIMITATIONS

The limitation of this hardware is that it only displays atmost 9 vote because there is a single 7 segment used for a particular candidate.

BENEFITS

Awareness about the voting machine.
