Briefly describe who Confucius and Emperor Qin were. Generally speaking, why are both individuals important?
Hi my name is Emily and today I will be telling you about how Confucius and Qin had different ways of teaching, and how they are both good and bad. Emperor Qin taught legalism. To Qin, legalism was important to use for his pupils to get his respect. Qin also wanted harmony in his class, but he thought that people were selfish and dishonest by nature. Confucius on the other hand, was very caring and believed that in order to make peace and harmony that he needed to give greed to his people. Some key accomplishments of Confucius were That he had made people accept people in harmony by the meaning of greed. He helped people notice that if you do something good to another, they will do something good in return. In order for good teaching manners and respect, he believed he had to treat them the way those people wanted to be treated. He believed in harmony between him and his class.

Some key accomplishments of emperor Qin were that he also got respect, just like Confucius, but instead he used legalism as a punishment to warn his class that he was the ruler. He used legalism to his class because he believed that people were dishonest by nature.
