Cornell Notes Gustar

The verb "gustar" is used to express what people like. It must be conjugated based on whether the thing being liked is singular or plural. "Le" and "les" can refer to both he/she/it likes and they like, so using a name clarifies who is doing the liking. To ask what someone likes, say "¿Qué te gusta?" Negating sentences uses "No" before the pronoun. When asking why, use "¿por qué?" but to say because, use "porque."
