Assignment 1 1. Determine The Voltage VB Using Method of Branch Currents

This document provides instructions for solving circuit analysis problems using different methods. Students are asked to use the branch current method to find the voltage VB, and then use mesh analysis to find all mesh currents and voltage drops in a given circuit. Finally, students are to use node voltage analysis to solve for currents and voltages in the same circuit.

Assignment 1 1. Determine the voltage VB using method of branch currents.

2. Given VA = 58-V, VB = 10-V, R1 = 4, R2 = 3, and R3 = 2 (Fig. a), find all mesh currents and voltage drops in the circuit.

3. Given VA = 58-V, VB = 10-V, R1 = 4, R2 = 3, and R3 = 2 (Fig. b), find all. Solve by node-voltage analysis.
