Class Test I
Course Code : ME2G Semester : Second Subject Code: 17205 Subject : Engineering Drawing Date- 15/02/2013 Max. Marks : 25 Time: 1.30 Hrs. ________________________________________________________________________ Instructions: 1] All questions are compulsory. 2] Illustrate your answers with neat sketches wherever necessary. 3] Figures to the right indicate full marks. 4] Assume suitable data if necessary.

Q.1 Attempt any one the following. (8 x 1 =8) a) A line AB,65 mm long has its end point A is 20 mm above H.P. and 10 mm in front of V.P. Elation length and plan length of the line are same and is of length 50 mm. Draw the projections of the line AB assuming it to be in first quadrant. b) A semicircular plate of 60 mm diameter has its straight edge on the H.P. and perpendicular to V.P. the surface of the plate makes an angle of 45 with the H.P. Draw three views. Q. 2 Attempt any One of the following. (8 x 1 =8) a) A Hexagonal prism of 35 mm edges of the base and axis 100 mm long is resting on its base on H.P. with one of its side faces perpendicular to the V.P. it is penetrated by the horizontal cylinder of 60 mm diameter. The axis of the cylinder is perpendicular to V.P. 50 mm above the base of the prism and bisecting the axis of the prism. Draw the development of lateral surface of the prism. b) A cylinder of base diameter 50 mm and height 75 mm is kept on H.P. with its axis vertical. It is cut by a section plane perpendicular to V.P. and inclined to H.P. at 30. Also passes through the axial point 24 mm from top side. draw the development of the cylinder. Q. 3 Attempt any One of the following. (9 x 1 =9) a) Fig. shows pictorial view of an object using first angle method of projection draw following views (i)sectional front view along with A-A. (ii)Top view (iii) R.H.S.V. b) Fig shows two views of an object. Draw (a) F.V. (b) T.V. (c) L.H.S.V.
