Text determination in customer master records can be maintained using transaction code VD01. Central texts for individual customers can be created and will display in related documents like sales orders, deliveries, and bills when that customer is selected. Let us understand text determination in the customer master

Creating texts for customer master

Customer – 3028(Account group – 0001)

Transaction code – VD01

Click on to maintain central text for the customer.

Menu Path
Enter text as above for sales note in German language (DE),
the language of the customer.

Let us see how this text is determined in the sales order.

Create sales order (Transaction code VA01)

Enter customer and material details as below.


Follow the menu path as below
Customer central text is displayed.

Click

It shows text determination analysis for every text id in the


text procedure, 01.
Similar text determination can be done in delivery and billing
documents.
