I. Find Books: Find Books and More
Keyword search 1. Click on record, note Location, Call Number, and whether it is on the Shelf 2. Look at Subject headings for ideas for alternate terms 3. You can also click on the subject heading to execute a new search on that subject

II. Electronic Resources (Books, Encyclopedias, Articles) Find Articles and More
Broad Subject Categories (alternatively, use Alphabetical or type in the name) Engineering Choose Database NEW! 1. Knovel- Over 400 online Engineering Handbooks 2. Access Science (An online Science and Technology Encyclopedia) 3. Applied Science and Technology Abstracts (references to articles, some full text) 4. Compendex (references to articlessome links to full text) 5. Safari- Full text books on computer science and information technology Broad Subject Categories (alternatively, use Alphabetical or type in the name) Business ABI/Inform

III. Getting the Articles (once you have the reference) Find Articles and More
1.Electronic Journals---enter the journal title NEW! OFF CAMPUS ACCESS: Sign in with Name, ID, PIN 2. Search Journal Title in Catalog ---enter the journal title Note the location and call number The call number is the location on the shelf Many journals have links in this catalog to the full text electronic version, but they only work on campus. For OFF CAMPUS, use Electronic Journals 3. Articles, conference proceedings, and standards published by IEE or IEEE, are full text 1988-present in IEEE Xplore.
