HCL Technologies has portfolio of services including software-led IT solutions, remote infrastructure management, engineering and R&D services and BPO. HCL has global partnerships with several leading Fortune 1000 firms, including several IT and technology majors. It provides services to industry sectors including financial services, manufacturing, aerospace & defense, telecom, retail & CPG, life sciences & healthcare, media & entertainment, travel, transportation & logistics, automotive, government and energies & utilities.
Objectives of the study 1) To study the training and development programmes of HCL Technologies Ltd.
2) To understand the perception of employees about the training & development activities in HCL. 3) To evaluate the effectiveness of training & development programmes & practices at HCL. 4) To know the impact of training programmes on trainees/ employees.
2) The study will cover 100 employees of HCL technologies Ltd, sector-125, Noida. 3) The study aims at analyzing the current trends in training & development process & their influence on implementation of an appropriate system to suit to needs of the organization.
Methodology
Methodology used for data collection are: The data will be collected through both primary & secondary sources of data. Primary data will be collected from respondents through a structured questionnaire.
Secondary data will be collected from journals, magazines, web portals & books.
Techniques proposed to be used for data analysis are: Chi-square & regression analysis may be used for data analysis.
Tools
The statistical tools used for the analysis & presentation of data in this research are SPSS & MS Excel.
