Self Defense: Ground Fighting and Escape

This document provides information on self defense and ground fighting. It discusses considerations for ground fighting such as striking being less effective and wrestling and locking becoming key. It also notes that escape is very difficult on the ground and to always remember to breathe. It then discusses Colorado law on use of physical force in defense of a person. Finally, it provides statistics on sexual assault and suggests gaining advantage on the ground by breathing, relaxing, gaining position, developing base and posture, and attacking with intent to force the opponent to disengage.
