Classroom Observation Form Hassan 1

The teacher, Hassan, was observed teaching accounting to a grade 9 class of 22 students. During the lesson, the teacher spoke in a monotone voice and became defensive when questioned by students. Some students were sleeping, indicating a lack of student engagement. The teacher relied mainly on visual methods using the whiteboard and answering questions aloud, but did not effectively accommodate different learning styles. Transitions between topics were poorly managed, leading to student interruptions, and the teacher did not adequately review previous material. While the teacher demonstrated familiarity with the course content, there is room to diversify and better engage students.
