INTRODUCTION

EEE FIELD TRACER UNIT (2E)

It may be necessary sometime foe quantitative analysis, to record the relevant stress pattern of model by the designer himself. This is particularly so when one needs to record isoclinic values and isochromatic Fringe orders at various points of interest, while the model is on Optical Bench. The Field Tracer Unit provides this facility. This attachment makes the technique cheaper without sacrificing the accuracy. The Fringes can be traced on paper. SPECIFICATIONS The Field Tracer Unit is an independent Unit. This consists of a suitable Eye-piece for getting the image on mirror, which is placed at an inclined angle of 45 0 . The same image is on paper.

FRINGE PATTERN -PHOTOGRAPHS Camera: (The Camera will be provided at extra cost for taking photographs of Fringe Pattern.) A) Nicon FM 10 with 35/70 lens,80/200 with micro zoom lens. B) Timer facility is provided. C) Adjustable shutter speed is provided. D) Photography is possible with conventional film role. INSTRUCTION MANUAL A technical manual is supplied which gives details of the apparatus and procedure of experiments

SPACE REQUIRED Trace table size :- 15cm.x15cm.(approx). Magnification from : - 0.5 up to 2 is possible.
