THE LEARNERS DEVELOPMENT AND ENVIRONMENT

My Analysis
1. How do the school campus and the classroom in particular impact on the learning of the students going to school? What are your conclusions? The school campus gives impact on the learning of the students by providing them brilliant teachers, teachers who have a masteral degree on their own fields, by providing some facilities that can enhance their learning, by engaging to the new trends or giving some instructional materials through multimedia. The classroom gives impact on their learning by providing a conducive place to stay-in like well-ventilated and well-lighted. I conclude that with all of this, Fatima High School can produce competitive students that can give honor to the school, to the city, or maybe to the country.

2. How does this relate to your knowledge of child and adolescent development? How does this relate to your knowledge to your knowledge of facilitating learning? As what I observed, highschool students are notmature yet. They are still childish and just take education for granted. In their developmental stage they cant appreciate the things around them. They are still a little bit of selfish and just minding their selves not knowing that there are other peoplethan them. In facilitating of learning, engaging to high school students is not easy. These students are in their developmental stage, so they tend to be unruly, arrogant, stubborn and hard to understand. Some find it hard to focus on their studies since a lot of things are bothering them. Since catching of attentions are hard, applying new strategies would help. Recalling the past lesson would also help them to retain it on their mind.

THE LEARNERS DEVELOPMENT AND ENVIRONMENT

My Reflections
1. Would you like to teach in the school environment you just observed? Why or why not? Yes, I would like to teach on that school, because MSU is a well-known school. Not just because of it as one of the universities in the city but also of its being standard. And I want to work there, for me to contribute some knowledge to the student.

2. What kind of school campus is conducive to learning? School campuses that are friendly school and that will give all the need of students in the future success.

3. What kind of classroom is conducive to learning? The classroom which has a complete learning materials such as visual aids, posters, sayings, pictures, illustrations and piles of magazines, books, and rules, etc. this can help the students develop their academic performances and would motivate them to learn and participate to the teachers.

4. In the future, how can you accomplish your answer in number 3? I can accomplish my answer in number three by providing all this learning materials. I can solicit books, magazines or newspaper to friends, relatives or co-teachers. If the students have this material they can also donate it to the class.

5. Write your additional learning and insights here. School is a learning environment. This is where they can mold their ownselves. Students can learn many things from the four corners of their classroom. Classroom is their second home. They spend most of their times in here. So making it a conducive place for learning is a big factor for them to acquire more information. Beautification is a big factor also, thats why teachers should make it attractive.
