Italian Bread Recipe

1 Cup of water (110 degrees) 1 Tbl. Yeast 1 tsp. Sugar 1 tsp. salt 2 - 3 C. Flour

First, dissolve yeast in water that has been warmed. This will activate the yeast. Stir this with a whisk. Then add to the water mixture, sugar and salt. Whisk this again. Let this stand until there is some foam on water. Pour this in your kitchen aid mixer. Next add 2 cups of flour. Mix it with a dough hook. Add more flour if needed. Knead the dough with hands. Coat a bowl with olive oil, place dough in bowl, cover with a towel or plastic wrap and let it rise for 1 hour or overnight in the refrigerator. Finally, form a loaf. Let it rise and double in size. Bake at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
