Bridging Module in Language System

Project Objective

To exempted Qualifying Test (QT) subject (Bridging subject taken during registration day) into student result. To store the English Placement Test (EPT) and Arabic Placement Test (APT). To generate CGPA of Bridging students. To transfer the qualified student to Kulliyyah. To archive result for student Re-admission (administrative) To check history of Bridging students.

Project Scope

To manage the students result whereby the officer in charge can monitor the student progress including the EPT result, CGPA and etc. To integrate admission process in the Student Information System

Identify score subject based on university grading

Determine exempted subject when grade in A,A,B+,B,B-,C+,C

Process Flow
Determine average band for EPT is 6.

Determine the APT level based on intended program

Determine the completed nextlevel for EPT. Eg : PASS,ESP,EXEMPED,EXIT

Generation of CGPA Process Flow


Determine how the CGPA can be generated? Eg: matric_no : 0100000, program : all or selected

Determine only DM status can be generated as stated in Bridging Policy under Academic Dismissal.

Transfer Students to Kulliyyah Process Flow


Determined the criteria of Enterring Kulliyyah requirements. Eg: Completed EPT, Completed all bridging Courses based on programs and achieve the minimum cgpa requirement of Intended Kulliyyah.

Determined the option of transferring type. Eg : by New Intake students(all/individual) or by current students (all/individual)
