Scheduling Sub-Committee

Members: Juan DeRosa, Chinwe Ezuma, Susan Scullin, Trudy Davis, Melaine Descamps, Rodolphe Casado, Trupti Patel, Francesca Zammarano, Jackie J. Role and Responsibilities: Understand the recommendations made by Roxanne Higgins of ISM. Discuss and explain the recommendations to members of the faculty. Solicitate feedback from the faculty to enable the sub-committee to do the remainder of the work noted below: o Make recommendations regarding which changes to adopt and which not to. o Make recommendations for issues which have not been addressed in Roxannes work. o Make determinations and prioritization of which issues must be addressed and in which order of priority. Between Dec. 3 and Dec. 21, the sub-committee will be talking with members of the Junior School faculty to illicit feedback on the recommendations made during Roxannes presentation (which can be found on the UNISJSGuide weebly page). This information will be taken and synthesized into a recommendation to the principals group. Final decisions regarding scheduling will be used during a two day workshop in February, where a six member UNIS team will meet with Roxanne Higgins to do the data input of the 2013/14 schedules. Final schedules are to be shared with teachers during the spring of 2013.
