The Good!

The Challenges
Hurricane Sandy puts Madiba Prep, along with all NYC public schools, out of commission for one full week! Some scholars were without power and had to relocate. Our community was not hit hard, but we plan to adopt a school that was affected, and support them with goods, materials, and love. I need your attention!!! says Mr. Lloyd. Madiba scholars had to endure a long week of assigned seats in the cafeteria for lunch. Lets hope that doesnt need to happen again! Now, Madiba scholars raise up their right fist to show solidarity, unity and respect.
On
the
Horizon
Where
are
the
computers?
Scholars
have
been
asking
and
asking,
Where
are
the
computers?
The
good
news
is-
they
are
on
their
way!
The
bad
news
is
that
due
to
Hurricane
Sandy
and
other
circumstances,
we
still
have
to
wait.
Where
is
your
Homework?
It
has
been
reported
that
some
scholars
are
not
completing
their
homework.
This
lack
of
effort
is
strongly
impacting
scholars
grades.
