Introduction
An internal order is used to accumulate cost for a specific project or task for a specific time period. An internal order is therefore used for a short period with a specific deadline. It is normally used to plan, collect, and settle the costs of internal jobs and tasks. Main uses of internal orders are - Monitoring the costs of short-term jobs - Monitoring the costs and revenues of a specific service - On going cost control To reflect the correct cost in the internal order, working hours cost should be reflected in it, so that correct cost could be calculated for the specific task/job. It facilitates coordination, monitoring and optimization of the task/job processes in organization. Objective The objective of this article is to explain step by step process of how you can create enter Cross Application Time sheet document, transfer cost to internal order.

Business Requirement
Business organizes some events and deals with a specific project or task for a specific time period, to know the cost for that particular event or project, internal orders are used. To know the actual working hours/ cost for that event or project, working hours should be transferred to internal order. Steps 1. Create Data entry profile to post time sheet document 2. To Control the time sheet entry screen with Data entry profile 3. Posting time sheet document 4. Transfer working hours cost to Internal order

Solution:
Step 1: Use transaction code CAC1 to create the Data entry profile. Data entry profile controls The time sheet entry screen. At a time we can enter time for multiple employees at a time or only for one employee. When we want to enter the records for multiple employees at time, we need to use BAPI only, no manual entry possible. Approval process before transferring to internal order In case more than 24 hours booked in a day by employee in time sheet document, error message or warning message should be displayed.

Step 2: To Control the time sheet entry screen with Data entry profile use transaction code CAC2 Modifiable: Modifiable fields on a general level (client level). You can define the basic settings for all data entry profiles in these fields. Influencing: Modifiable fields for a specific profile. You can determine which fields are displayed in the time sheet when a particular data entry profile is used. Within each of these two levels, you can specify the fields for the settings, worklist and data entry sections.

Add activity type, internal order and time in Data entry section. Select the entry and click on the release view and then save.

Select the other period and give from date and to date. Personnel number Select the controlling check box. Deselect the test run check box Click on execute button
