To make the Payee field available for changes in FB02 documents, a configuration setting must be added in Transaction OB32 by creating a new entry with the company code in the company code field. This allows the Payee field to then be changed when editing FB02 documents for that specific company code.

How to make fields available for changes in FB02

FB02 Change Document Number

The Payee field at this point is not available for changes. To make this a changeable field, there is a configuration setting that needs to be added.

Go To Transaction OB32: Click on New Entries.

Type a new entry as shown in the above screen. As there is an entry 5050 in the company code field, this is effective only for the company code 5050. And Click on Save. This entry creates a transport request as I am using the test systems, it did not create any Transport request.

Now go back and try changing the document

Now you are able to change the field .
