"Taste of Phillips" Art Festival Festival Del Arte "Sabor Del Barrio"

The "Taste of Phillips" art festival will take place October 19-21, 2012 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. On Friday there will be an open mic night for poetry, music, and spoken word. Saturday will include the dedication of new murals, a dance performance, and coffee. Sunday will feature a music festival and a cultural supper. Artists, poets and musicians interested in participating should email [email protected]. The event is funded in part by grants from the Minnesota State Arts Board and Legislature.

Friday, October 19 7 pm: Poetry/Spoken Word/Music Open Mike Saturday, Oct. 20: 10am noon. Dedication of murals, art walk, performance by Young Dance and St. Pauls youth. Sunday, Oct. 21: 3 pm. Music Festival and Two Cultures Supper.

Viernes, 19 de octubre, 7 pm: Presentacin de poesia, msica y spoken word. Sbado, 20 de octubre, 10am a 12 pm: inauguracin de nuevos murales, recital de baile con jvenes de Proyecto Semilla (Iglesia San Pablo) y Young Dance. Caf con leche! Domingo, 21 de octubre, 3 pm: Festival Musical y cena de patriomonio cultural.
