Technique of Developing Material S

1. The document discusses adapting course materials to be more learner-centered and flexible. 2. It proposes a model where learners initially evaluate materials, which are purposefully open-ended and adaptable. 3. Key features of adapted materials include flexibility, open-endedness, relevance filled in by learners, universal topics, and use of authentic texts.

Adapting Course
Adaption As Awareness Development The roles of the learners for adaptation process Learners are traditionally left with a rather passive role in the classroom particularly as far as adapting courses is concerned. If we write about the learners more active role in the adaption process and his/her negotiation with the teacher, we assuming that the syllabus is the product of the cooperation between the teacher and the learner's.

A Model For Adapting courses

The process of this is based on an initial evaluation which should be carried out by the learners. Materials purposely designed to be adapted later by the users. Order approach should be broken and replaced by a set of materials much more flexible and open to different interpretations and adoptions by the learners. An alternative approach can be considered a way to make materials more relevant to a wider group of learners without the risk of making them trivial.

List Of Key Feature In Materials Adaption.

1. Learner-centered materials should put learners at centre of the learning process, represent the facilitator of language learning, should provide a mere stimulus, starting point, for language exposure as well as

for different approaches.

2. Flexibility and choices. should be flexible in the sense that they should provide learners with the possibility of choosing different activities., task, project and approaches .

3. Open-ended
it refers to the process of reacting spontaneously

when reading literature, hence it involves interaction

with language and text. 4. Relevant the materials left open ended , become relevant to the learners when they fill those gaps and open spaces with their ideas interpretations and discussion

5. Universal material should be based on universally appealing the topics which are culturally provoking in the sense that they are culturally specific. 6. Authentic materials should be based on authentic texts, which have been written for any purpose other than language teaching.
