Problem Solving: Two Step Story Problems Part-Part Whole Problems

There are three types of two-step story problems presented: part-part-whole problems, comparing quantities problems, and change problems. For the part-part-whole problems, the questions ask you to combine quantities from separate groups to find a total amount. The comparing quantities problems ask you to combine separate counts of different items to find a total number of items or people. The change problems describe an original quantity that changes after additions or subtractions occur and ask you to determine the final quantity.
