The People of JIT
Taiichi Ohno of Toyota developed and perfected Just in Time. Shigeo Shingo worked alongside of Ohno and studied production and other techniques.
History of JIT
JIT has been practiced in Japan since the early 1970s. Over the years JIT has improved customer satisfaction by providing vehicles within a day or two of the minimum economic shipping delay.
