To create an exploded view assembly in Creo without permanently changing the assembly: 1. Create an enhanced scene in the assembly and name it. 2. Move parts in the assembly to the desired exploded view positions within the scene. 3. Exit the scene and save the assembly. 4. Apply the scene from the specification tree to view the exploded assembly without changing the original.

How to do exploded view for an assembly and keep the views? 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7.

Open assembly and go to Scenes toolbar Select Enhanced scene Uncheck Automatic namingand give name as A or etc Select Overload mode to Full and give ok It will enter in to Scene mode Select Apply Scene on Assembly from Enhanced Scenes toolbar Move compass to an assembly and select the part / assembly you want to move as exploded view. You can do directly from 3D model or else from Spec. tree 8. Move the required components and do Exit scene finally. 9. Save the assembly after exit. 10. Now select particular scene from Spec. tree and do right click A Object Apply Scene on assembly Apply the entire scene 11. This scene will show the exploded view on design mode. We can use it this view to show views on drawing. 12. After keeping the views Isolate the exploded view 13. Now dont save this exploded assembly in to assembly design mode as this will become permanently stick with the assembly when ever we open the assembly in future.
