The princess enters, singing and playing with a golden ball. Princess: My, how quiet the forest is as quiet as a mouse. And such a beautiful day like blooming morning glory! To make everything perfect, my father the king gave me this golden ball. Its so precious. Ill treasure it forever. (The ball dropped in the well). My, Ive never seen this well before. I wonder where it came from. It certainly is deep. It must go down for miles. Oh, no! Ive lost my ball in the well. What shall I do? Oh, what shall I do? Plakk! (Broken heel) Princess: Oh, no. Again. What a bad luck. Frog: Croak, croak. Princess , why are you crying? Croak, croak. Princess: Croak, croak yourself, you horrible frog! Go away! I dropped my golden ball into the well. I broke my heel. If I could get it back, Id give everything I own my pearl necklace, my diamond bracelet everything! Frog: Uh. Two-time loser. I can get your ball as easy as pie. But what would I do with all your fine things? Princess: How should I know? Frog: Look, youre upset. Ill get your golden ball. Princess: You will? Frog: Yes, I will if you let me live at the castle and treat me just like a prince. Princess: What! Are you tried to play a trick with me? Amazing, a frog eat with me. Frog: And let me eat from your golden plate and let me sleep on your pillow. Princess: Very well, find my golden ball and Ill do what you ask. Frog: You will have your golden ball.
Princess: (looking down well) My goodness. Its so dark down there. Where is that frog? I cant see him. Ill bet this well has ate him. (She saw the frog) You found it! You found it! (She took the ball and left the frog) Frog: Princess! Princess! You promised to take me back to the castle with you. Princess! (He shakes his head, and jumps back behind the well as the curtain falls).
