Teachers may check out iPads from the computer lab for up to 3 days to use in their classrooms. The iPads must be kept away from food, drinks, pens and pencils and carried carefully by students using both hands. When not in use, iPads must be secured in a locked drawer or cabinet. Teachers should return iPads to the computer lab at the end of each day to be charged and cleaned with supplied wipes only. Teachers can add free apps but the technology coordinator must enter passwords. Students will lose iPad privileges for inappropriate use such as changing settings, downloading apps, or visiting inappropriate websites.

Coronado iPads For The Classroom Check out iPads from the computer lab using the iPad

calendar notebook. You may check out Group A-Numbers 1-4 or Group BNumbers 5-8 for up to 3 consecutive days. If no one has signed out one of the iPad groups by the start of school, you may check out both. Keep heavy and sharp objects away from the iPad, including pens and pencils. Keep food and beverages away from the iPad. Be sure that students use both hands when carrying the iPad. Do not allow students to do anything to the iPad that will alter it in any way. When the classroom is empty the iPads must be secured. Lock iPads in a drawer, cabinet or lock the classroom door. Return the iPad lab to the Computer Lab at the end of the day and lock them in Bessy (C.O.W) for charging. Clean only with supplied electronic wipes. Teachers may add free apps, but Mrs. Smith will need to enter the password. Please have students discard any of their own documents, files, or photos no longer in use. Please communicate the following to your students. Students will lose iPad privileges and may receive other consequences for inappropriate use. Inappropriate use includes but is not limited to: a) Attempting to change any settings on the device b) Defacing any part of the iPad, case, or labels c) Changing the background d) Attempting to download applications e) Attempting to delete installed applications f) Visiting inappropriate websites g) Deleting or changing another students work in any application h) Unsafe handling
