Notes To Client I.T. Dept Or Course Software Installer:


a. Petroskills and Ryder Scott Consultants, Denver, CO USA, the authors of SNAP (System Nodal Analysis Program),
have an agreement for Petroskills to use SNAP, a multifaceted oilfield systems analysis program, in select Petroskills courses. The SNAP program is respected as an oil and gas systems analysis leader in the industry. RyderScott refers to the SNAP program on its web site as one of several Specialized Oilfield Software (SOS programs).

b. To load the SNAP course software (SNAP nodal analysis program) note the following:

Go To: www.ryderscott.com Go To the Software tab (in the middle of the page) Go To SOS Downloads (SOS - Specialized Oilfield Software) in the Software tab Download (click on) the SNAP Installer in the middle of the page (not SNAP description at top) After saving the download, click on the file setupsnap Enter the password the 2012 password is 11b8 The program will load and provide a base case file.

The upload is now complete; the current SNAP version is loaded. At the end of each calendar year (current year version 2012), the license to SNAP expires Dec 31. Registration instructions can be found on the Ryder Scott web site for future password request.
