Arthid joined SCB 10X in 2020 as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Arthid commenced his career at the Siam Commercial Bank’s Treasury Department in 1994, before moving on to Cargill Financial Services as Hedge Fund Manager in 1998. After that, he joined Standard Chartered Bank, where he rose to the position of Managing Director and Regional Head of Capital Markets, Southeast Asia. Arthid re-joined the Siam Commercial Bank in 2008 as Senior Executive Vice President, Corporate Banking Group. He was appointed as Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Bank in 2015 and the President and Chief Executive Officer in 2016. In 2019, he was appointed as Director, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Executive Committee.

Arthid holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Chulalongkorn University and an M.B.A. Degree in Finance from Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration. He also participated in an exchange program at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Pailin joined SCB 10X in 2020 as Director.

Dr. Pailin formerly worked for several leading companies in various capacities, including as Chief Executive Officer and President, PTT PCL; Director, PTT Exploration and Production PCL; Chairman, IRPC PCL; an expert member of the Board of Directors, Ministry of Digital Economy and Society of Thailand; an expert member on the Board of Commissioners, Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand; Deputy Minister, Ministry of Transport of Thailand (Year 2017 – 2019).

He is currently an Independent Director, Member of the Executive Committee and Member of the Technology Committee of the Siam Commercial Bank PCL. He also serves on the boards and committees of public organizations and science and technology development institutes.

Dr. Pailin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with First-Class Honors from Chulalongkorn and a Master’s Degree and a Ph.D. in Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology.

Police Colonel Thumnithi Wanichthanom

He is a distinguished professional serving as a Director and Member of the Executive Committee at SCBX. He holds a B.P.A. from the Royal Police Cadet Academy and an M.P.A. from Western Kentucky University, U.S.A. His extensive career includes directorial roles at SCG Packaging PCL, Siam Cement PCL, Auto X Co., Ltd., Alpha X Co., Ltd., and the Siam Commercial Foundation. Since 2018, he has been Vice Chairman of CPB Equity Co., Ltd. and Director and Deputy Director-General at The Crown Property Bureau. Additionally, he is the Grand Chamberlain at the Bureau of the Royal Household and has served in various roles, including Deputy Chamberlain in the Personal Affairs Division of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince from 1997 to 2017.

Ning Ma joined SCB 10X as Independent Director.

Ning Ma was former Managing Director and Co-head of Asia Pacific Financial Institutions Equities Research, Goldman Sachs Asia LLC, former Managing Director and Deputy General Manager, Beijing Gao Hua Securities Co., Ltd and Member of China Operating Committee of Goldman Sachs. He also worked at the People’s Bank of China (Head Office) where he was involved in devising policies and regulating the non-bank financial institutions in the People's Republic of China.

Ning Ma is a founding partner of Lingfeng Capital, a VC firm that seeks to invest in companies operating in FinTech & Consumer Finance sector. The firm was founded in 2015 and is based in Beijing, China. The notable portfolio companies include JD Finance, 51 Credit Card, 4Paradigm and Wecash.

Ning Ma holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Renmin University of China. He holds a Master’s Degree in International Finance from Tsinghua PBC Graduate School of Finance, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from London Business School.

Chanond joined SCB 10X in 2020 as Independent Director.

Chanond formerly worked as Head of Debt and Business Restructuring at Windmill Park & Green Valley Group, and  an energy sector analyst at Finance One.

Chanond is currently a Director, Member of Good Corporate Governance Committee, Member of Nomination and Compensation Committee, Chairman of Executive Committee and President and Chief Executive Officer, Ananda Development PCL.

Chanond holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from University of California at Berkeley and a Master’s Degree in International Accounting and Finance from London School of Economics.

David joined SCB 10X in 2020 as Independent Director.

David is one of the world’s top experts on technology disruption, innovation, and exponential leadership. His passion is to help improve the lives of a billion people in the world by helping leader’s create new intentions for global good and through technology disruption. He is a former Special Agent, decorated military officer, and career officer in the Executive Branch of the US Government. As a high-tech entrepreneur, David has started ventures backed with over $100 million of investment from groups such as Kleiner Perkins, Vinod Khosla, Cisco, Oracle, Accenture, and In-Q-Tel. David has previously led the development of highly technical systems including space-based satellites, unmanned air vehicles, and analytical fusion centres.

David is a Distinguished Faculty member at Singularity University where he previously served as Vice President and the two-time Director (and alum) of the University’s Graduate Studies Program. He is also an advisor of the world’s leading Quantum Computing software company, 1QBit.

David holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Scientist & Engineering and majored in Artificial Intelligence and Bio-Computer Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Dr. Arak joined SCB 10X in 2020 as Director and Chief Executive Officer.

Before joining SCB 10X, Dr. Arak has been appointed as President of Siam Commercial Bank PCL from 2019 to present. He has over 10 years of experience working in leading multi-national corporations. He was with McKinsey & Company in its Southeast Asia Office, and advised clients on strategy and corporate finance across multiple industries, including telecommunications, technology, energy, and government. Prior to that, he worked at Qualcom Inc. in the U.S., where he led wireless telecommunications R&D and co-authored over 50 U.S. patents.

Dr. Arak holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
