51 million litres of drinking milk produced in December

50.8 million litres of drinking milk were produced in December 2024.

The major part of it (26.8 million litres, or 52.9%) was semi-skimmed milk. Whole milk represented 39.2% of total production, skimmed milk 5.6% and buttermilk 2.3%.

In addition, 16.3 million litres of milk drinks and chocolate milk were produced, as well as 21.1 million litres of cream, 30.9 million litres of fermented milk and yoghurt, 17,483 tonnes of milk powder, 11,334 tonnes of cheese and 5,064 tonnes of traditional butter.
