S Loan of €10 mln to Lecco based Unicalce for investment in sustainability

Intesa Sanpaolo is supporting the sustainable development of the Lecco-based company Unicalce with a €10 million S-Loan for investment in:

• energy saving
• use of fuels and energy from renewable and circular sources
• development of new products with a reduced carbon footprint.

The financing is part of the Group's commitment to accompany companies in the environmental transition and to support investments related to the NRRP.

S-Loans in particular provide for a rate reduction that is recognised when ESG improvement targets are achieved.

Unicalce is Italy's leading producer of lime, dolomitic lime and derived products with 11 plants throughout the country.
