Elisa Industriq today announced global availability of Lumi, an AI-powered virtual manager that takes production planning to a new level. Part of the latest version of the sedApta Demand Driven Manufacturing+ (DDM+) platform, Lumi combines real-time data and machine learning with conversational AI to make production and logistics processes more intelligent, agile and efficient.

The AI-supported virtual manager Lumi serves planners as an intelligent decision-making partner. It understands the requirements of modern supply chains, increases productivity through providing targeted information, and enables companies to make well-founded decisions faster in day-to-day business.
Lumi is always available just a click away in the DDM+ suite. Lumi responds to natural-language questions, analyzes historical and current data, detects anomalies, and uses machine learning to forecast demand. The solution suggests optimizations to, e.g., avoid supply bottlenecks and offers support in real-time, what-if scenarios.

In addition, Lumi automates repetitive tasks and reduces inefficiencies. The tool can be used in two ways: reactively (by answering specific questions, e.g., about stock levels) or providing independent support by, for example, analyzing processes and proactively pointing out anomalies. This flexibility means that Lumi can support the entire supply chain planning process.
