Steps to create the highlighted table:

Step 1:

Connect the "Sample-Superstore" data set.

Step 2:

Drag the "Sub-Category" and drop it onto the "row" shelf.

Step 3:

Drag the "Sales" and drop it onto the "Label" shelf. Then And drag the "Sales" measure and drop it onto the "color" field.

Step 4:

Click on the "Show me" button and select the "highlight table" option.

Our simple highlighted table is ready. We can expand our table by adding dimensions on the "row" and "column" shelf.
