On Thursday, Dearborn Advanced Tech Academy senior student-athlete Evan Weber signed his national letter of intent to play college basketball at University of Michigan-Dearborn next school year.

Weber this past season was a key veteran piece for an Advanced Tech program that enjoyed arguably its best season in program history.

Weber averaged just over five points, five rebounds, and two steals per game while shooting 50 percent from the floor and close to 70 percent from the free throw line. The big 6-foot-5 forward helped the Lakers turn in a final 20-4 record, the most wins in program history, including an undefeated record in Detroit Metro Athletic Conference play en route to a regular-season conference championship.
