Former Philadelphia Eagles center and NFL legend Jason Kelce has been making waves off the field since retiring in March. Over his 13-year career, Kelce established himself as one of the greatest offensive linemen in league history, earning seven Pro Bowl selections, six first-team All-Pro honors, and playing a vital role in the Eagles’ 41-33 Super Bowl LII victory over the New England Patriots.

Now a key part of ESPN’s “Monday Night Countdown”, Kelce brings his humor, personality, and football expertise to a national audience.

On Monday, Kelce added an unexpected accolade to his post-football resume: a world record.

Before the Houston Texans faced the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium, Kelce teamed up with YouTube sensation “Dude Perfect” to break the record for the “longest thrown and caught hot dog into a bun.”

The stunt, part of a pre-game “Tailgate Gauntlet” outside the stadium, captivated fans and energized the pre-game atmosphere.

Dude Perfect, a group renowned for their inventive trick shots and viral stunts with over 60 million subscribers, launched the hot dog 167 feet. Kelce stood waiting with a bun in hand and successfully caught the flying hot dog, officially setting the record.

The crowd erupted as the unusual feat was completed, blending humor and skill in a way only Kelce and Dude Perfect could deliver.

The record-breaking catch may not be as significant as his on-field accomplishments, but it was a moment of lighthearted entertainment that reminded fans of Kelce’s enduring appeal. From dominating on the gridiron to breaking world records with a hot dog and bun, Jason Kelce continues to make his mark in unforgettable ways.
