Audacy’s Pineapple Street Studios took home the top honor at the fifth annual Ambies this week. The prestigious awards, hosted by The Podcast Academy, recognize excellence in audio. Produced in partnership with Wondery, Dan Taberski’s “Hysterical” nabbed the top award, “Podcast of the Year.” In addition, Taberski was also recognized in the Best Reporting category. The studio also took home Best Entertainment Podcasts for “The Wonder of Stevie,” produced in partnership with Audible and Higher Ground.“ I’m incredibly proud of the Pineapple teams behind ‘Hysterical’ and ‘The Wonder of Stevie,’” said Bari Finkel, SVP, Co-Head, Audacy’s Pineapple Street Studios. “The hard work and passion they put into these shows is no small part of what led to these awards.
