This recognition coincides with the celebration of October as American Pharmacists Month. From the Governor’s proclamation: "The most accessible health care providers, pharmacists deliver critical services to patients and bolster public health in the Lone Star State and beyond [...] I encourage all Texans to recognize our outstanding pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, who are essential to our health care system."
