October 10, 2024: State and National Pharmacist MonthGovernor Greg Abbott has proclaimed October 2024 to be Pharmacist Month in Texas. This recognition coincides with the celebration of October as American Pharmacists Month. From the Governor’s proclamation: "The most accessible health care providers, pharmacists deliver critical services to patients and bolster public health in the Lone Star State and beyond [...] I encourage all Texans to recognize our outstanding pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, who are essential to our health care system."
