A new public-facing dashboard aimed at helping residents make informed decisions when choosing a nursing home has been launched by the New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH).

LTCO advocates for the rights of residents of long-term care facilities and investigates allegations of abuse, neglect and exploitation. LTCO is the voice of the state’s most vulnerable institutionalized elderly citizens.

LTCO Regional Ethics Committees provide much-needed education, conflict resolution, and ethical guidance to facilities and families when difficult decisions need to be made.
