Nickelodeon UK To Get More New Nickelodeon Bumpers In January 2012

Nickelodeon UK and Ireland has announced on their official Twitter profile page (@NickelodeonUK) that Nickelodeon UK and Ireland will be getting more brand new Nickelodeon bumpers in January 2012:
I just saw a sneak peek of the new bumpers coming to Nick in January [...] very exciting!

Our production team are putting the final magical touches to them so I got a cheeky first look. 2012 is looking great:D
Also:
PLEASE TELL US MORE INFO ON THE NEW BUMPERS COMING TO NICK IN JANUARY! Are they the same as the US? Will they be in 16:9?

It is not yet confirmed whether Nickelodeon UK's new on-air bumpers will have the same style and be part of Nickelodeon UK's recent brand refresh, or whether the new Nickelodeon bumpers will feature a completely new design and style.

Nickelodeon Planning "Victorious" "Activity" For February 2012

British actor and Nickelodeon UK writer, producer and director David Kangas has hinted on his official Twitter page (@kangas911) that Nickelodeon (either Nickelodeon UK and Ireland and Nickelodeon HD UK or Nickelodeon International) maybe planning a "Victorious Takes Over Nickelodeon Month", or another big "Victorious" event on Nickelodeon in February 2012, which may also include Nickelodeon and "Victorious" star "Victoria Justice", who plays the character "Tori Vega" on the hit Nickelodeon show "Victorious", visiting the UK again in February 2012:
Any more news on the Victorious promo for Nick International???

Nickelodeon Series "Supah Ninjas", "The Troop" And "iCarly" Nominated For A '2012 Writers Guild Association Awards' Award

According to these Nickelodeon news story articles on Digital Spy and Zap2it, episodes of the Nickelodeon shows "Supah Ninjas", "The Troop" and "iCarly" have been nominated for a '2012 Writers Guild Association Awards' award in the 'Children's - Episodic & Specials' award category. The WGA Awards, which recognises the best in television, news, radio, promotional writing and graphic animation, will take place on February 9, 2012.

Christmas Day 2011 On Nickelodeon UK And Ireland, Nickelodeon UK HD, Nicktoons UK, Nick Jr. Channel UK And Ireland And Nick Jr. 2

According to the online television schedule guide TV Guide UK, here are Nickelodeon UK's, Nicktoons, Nickelodeon HD UK's, Nick Jr. Channel's and Nick Jr. 2's Christmas Day (Sunday 25th December 2011) schedule highlights as part of Nickelodeon UK's "Christmas On Nickelodeon 2011":

Nickelodeon UK and Ireland and Nickelodeon HD UK will be celebrating Christmas Day on Sunday 25th December 2011 by holding a "SpongeBob SquarePants Day", which will feature a all day "SpongeBob SquarePants" marathon featuring back-to-back episodes of the popular original Nickelodeon animated show ("NickToon") "SpongeBob SquarePants" from 6.00am to 11.00pm (7.00am to 12am on Nick Replay UK).

NickToons UK and Ireland will be celebrating Christmas Day starting at 5.00am with two episodes of "Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids", then with an all day "Power Rangers Samurai" marathon from 6.00am to 11.00pm (7.00am to 7.00pm on NickToons Replay).

Nickelodeon UK will be celebrating Christmas Day on Nick Jr. Channel UK and Ireland by showing Christmas themed episodes of hit Nick Junior shows throughout the day, including:

Nickelodeon Movies' "Rango" Nominated For Nine Annie Awards

'Kung Fu Panda 2' leads Annie Awards with 12 nominations

DreamWorks Animation's Kung Fu Panda 2 leads the 39th Annual Annie Awards with 12 nominations including 'Best Animated Feature', 'Best Animated Special Production' and 'Voice Acting in Feature Production'.

Kung Fu Panda 2 once again follows Po (Jack Black), who is now a trained warrior, and the Furious Five (Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, Lucy Liu and David Cross) as they battle with a new enemy, evil peacock Lord Shen (Gary Oldman).

Oldman and James Hong, who plays Po's father Mr Ping, were each recognised for their vocal talents in the animated film.

Both Dreamworks' Puss in Boots and Paramount's Rango got nine nods, while Disney's critically-acclaimed Winnie the Pooh received eight nominations and Pixar's Cars 2 got seven nods.

Back in 2009, Kung Fu Panda took home ten awards of its 16 nominations at the 36th Annual Annie Awards.

It won 'Best Animated Feature' of the year while Dustin Hoffman, who played Master Shifu, was awarded for 'Best Voice Acting'.
