In Daytona in August, Harrison Burton scored a surprising victory in a crash-filled race that went to overtime. Daytona is known for an unpredictable track, so don't be shocked to see a surprise name in victory lane.

Joey Logano is coming off a Cup Series championship last year, winning the title for the third time. Can Logano start his 2025 out on a strong note as he looks to defend his title?

Chase Briscoe is on the pole for the Daytona 500 while Austin Cindric joins him on the outside. In Thursday's Duel races, which set the lineup for the rest of the field, Bubba Wallace and Erik Jones took the wins.

Among the cars that had to race their way into the field, Martin Truex Jr., Jimmie Johnson, Helio Castroneves, Justin Allgaier, and Corey LaJoie all made this year's 500, while Anthony Alfredo, Chandler Smith, B.J. McLeod, and J.J. Yeley were sent home.
