President Donald J. Trump referred to Fox News personality Sean Hannity as an "amazing warrior" for his words about the impeachment proceedings the day before public hearings actually began, according to Raw Story.
Hannity reportedly referred to the impeachment hearings as a "circus" and a "phony showtrial."
"'The corrupt, compromised, coward & congenital liar Adam Schiff Show on Capital Hill, brought to you by his raging psychotic Democrats and the top allies in the Media Mob,'" Trump tweeted, allegedly quoting Hannity.

Trump closed out his Twitter thread with the phrase, "Sean the amazing warrior!"
After the first day of the impeachment hearings, Hannity referred to witnesses William Taylor, the U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine and George Kent, the Deputy Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, as "nerdy guys that don't know President Trump," according to Media Matters.
"The whole premise of this falls apart very quickly here," Hannity said on his radio program, The Sean Hannity Show, "because what you're really watching are these nerdy guys that don't know President Trump, never met with President Trump, that speak to the European Union ambassador, make interpretations out of his conversations that actually contradict his testimony, and obviously they—they have a level of self-importance that is just nauseating to me."
"What it's really about is a policy difference," Hannity continued, "and it's about their perceptions, and none of it is based on reality or truth, that they would ever have firsthand knowledge of. Zero, and then it's their interpretation of a phone call that says none of what they suggest in their interpretation."
"I'm actually beginning to think that there are gonna be some Democrats to say, 'You know what? I'm not going down with your sinking ship because this is making us look really stupid, really bad, and really political. And really, we haven't done a thing for the American people,'" said Hannity.
Hannity has long been considered one of Trump's strongest supporters. In June 2019, the conservative media host said he would be campaigning for Trump when he runs for reelection.
"I'm going to be out there on the campaign trail," Hannity said. "Tell everybody to let not their little hearts be troubled. They'll be sick of seeing me by the end of the campaign."
President Trump seems to appreciate Hannity's efforts on his behalf. During a June 2019 press conference in the Rose Garden at the White House, Trump sang Hannity's praises.
"Sean Hannity has been a terrific supporter of what I do, not of me," Trump said, according to Deadline. "If I changed my view he wouldn't be with me."
