Morley Library and Lake County NAACP will present a reading and talk by Deborah S. Johnson, author of the book “Mommy, Do Balloons Go to Heaven?” at 2 p.m.  Feb. 1 at the library, 184 Phelps St. in Painesville.

“Johnson’s book about her personal journey illustrates how we all have a divine survival code when we experience tragedy and setbacks,” the library stated in a news release.

In this book, she discusses how she made it through losing two children, surviving cancer, and financial despair through her increasing faith in God. This event is free and open to the public, but registration is requested and can be done at www.morleylibrary.org or by calling 440-352-3383.
