Rebel Moon 2 Release Date, Plot, Trailer for Zack Snyder Sequel The Scargiver - Netflix Tudum
- Return to Veldt for Zack Snyder’s epic sequel.April 19, 2024
Get ready to return to Veldt. Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon — Part One: A Child of Fire hit Netflix in December, but have no fear, rebels: Part Two is following close behind.
In the sequel to Snyder’s space-bound epic, Kora (Sofia Boutella) and her revolutionary recruits face an enemy they thought they’d defeated: Admiral Atticus Noble (Ed Skrein) and the Imperium legion he commands from the bridge of his flagship dreadnought, the King’s Gaze. It will take all of their combined skills to free the villagers of Veldt from the grip of Motherworld — and to free themselves from their own tragic pasts.
The first Rebel Moon stands alone, but Snyder was glad to have the opportunity to use the two halves of the epic for very different purposes. “My hopes are that because we were able to do two films, that we’re able to really invest in the characters for the first film so that the audience gets to really understand why they’re fighting for the villagers of Veldt,” he told Netflix. In Part Two, it’s time for that fight to begin. Read on to learn more about the battle for the future of the Rebel Moon universe.
When will Rebel Moon — Part Two: The Scargiver hit Netflix?

What is Rebel Moon — Part Two: The Scargiver about?

On the eve of their battle, the warriors must face the truths of their own pasts, each revealing why they fight. Remind me, what happened at the end of Rebel Moon — Part One: A Child of Fire?
After assembling a team of warriors to defend Veldt from the might of the Imperium, Kora and company set a course for the industrial way station of Gondival — only to be interrupted by the scheming Kai (Charlie Hunnam), who turns them over to Noble for a quick payday. All seems lost, until Gunnar (Huisman) saves the day, freeing the team and setting the stage for an explosive showdown.
The rebels fight Motherworld’s troops to a standstill, although guerrilla warrior Darrian Bloodaxe (Ray Fisher) sacrifices himself by taking down an enemy aircraft. Kora faces off against Noble and sends him plunging over the edge of Gondival, which floats above a low-orbiting moon. The rebels then head to Veldt, certain that the battle has already been won.
But back on Gondival, Noble’s body is recovered, and an unnatural technological resurrection returns him to the land of the living — and more ruthless than ever. On a mysterious astral plane, Noble meets with Kora’s bloodthirsty adoptive father, Regent Balisarius (Fee), who orders him to return to Veldt — and to return Kora to Balisarius, alive.
