Cleveland’s Walls of Love will award two lucky Northeast Ohio students with the Pink Love Experience.

The Pink Love Experience will gift senior high school students with an elevated prom experience, according to Holly Jackson, founder of Walls of Love.

“We wanted to give a really awesome prom experience to a deserving senior who wouldn’t normally be able to or their parents can’t afford it,” said Jackson, a Lorain native.

Walls of Love has partnered with local businesses including Pink Hands Events and Natasha Herbert Photography.

Male nominees will receive a complete tuxedo package valued at $250 from Men’s Warehouse, Jackson said.

Female nominees will receive a $250 dress allowance from Walls of Love, nails provided by Polished Nail Bar CLE, and a makeover by Slayymanthaaa, she said.

The nominated student also will receive a red carpet send-off, a professional photoshoot and a gift to commemorate the event from Walls of Love.

Chef Jefe Seats, of Elyria, will provide food platters for the prom send-off, Jackson said.

“It’s a total community collaboration,” she said. “We want to help someone who is in need, whether they have a disability or a foster child or can’t afford it financially.”

Walls of Love will provide the Pink Love Experience for the first time during the 2025 prom season.

Jackson said she wanted to give students a prom experience they would never forget.

“We just wanted to show as a community that we love these kids and spotlight some positivity among the negative things that are going on right now,” she said. “These students are doing great things, and we want to give them an awesome experience.”

Nominees must be in need, have a grade average of C or better and involved in academic and nonacademic extracurricular activities.

Nominees can nominate themselves or be nominated by a guardian, teacher or care person, Jackson said.

Students must submit a letter of 500 words or less as to why the student should be nominated.

Send the letters to [email protected] by April 10.

Winners will be announced by April 15.
