Silver Maple Recovery, 2101 Silver Maple Way, has announced the expansion of its sober living apartments in Lorain, according to a news release.
The 20-bed apartment home is specialized for women in addiction recovery, conveniently located across the road from Silver Maple Recovery’s
sober living apartments for men, the release said.
“As a former client and current employee of Silver Maple recovery, I know first-hand the level of pride that Silver Maple takes in watching people advance through our program, ultimately achieving a way of living that once seemed impossible, said Brian Tonsetic, director of business development with Silver Maple Recovery, in the release. “The level of care, compassion, and attention to detail for every person who walks through our doors is second to none.
“I couldn’t be more excited about the addition of a women’s sober living facility to our program. I have the utmost confidence that this vital piece of
programming will help shape the lives of many women struggling with addiction and be a tremendous benefit to the community.”
The expansion of Silver Maple’s sober living follows the addition of the female programming to its off-site, inpatient detoxification and 30-day residential treatment center, as the agency quickly recognized the growing need for female sober living options available in Lorain County to provide these women with the highest level of recovery potential possible, the release said.
“Silver Maple has been assisting people in need for many years now,” said Lorain Mayor Jack Bradley in the release. “Since becoming mayor, I have had the pleasure to visit their facilities and observe first-hand the wonderful work being done.
“I am happy to see an expansion of their post-treatment facilities to help women struggling with issues associated with addiction. This expansion of services will continue the positive opportunities provided by Silver Maple.”
Silver Maple Recovery’s sober living apartments for women are open and operating.
