Prince William has left presenter Vick Hope in stitches after confessing his favourite emoji during a candid chat as he filmed for an upcoming episode of Clarkson's Farm. The 42-year-old royal made the surprising revelation as he spoke with TV presenter Vick Hope, who was also there, and mentioned how William had previously said it before when they met.
Greeting the Prince of Wales, Vick shook his hand and said: "Good to see you, how are you?" A polite William replied: "Very well, thank you. It's been a while since we caught up in Birmingham." Vick then caught a blushing Wills off guard as she dropped the bombshell: "It was, it was. You mentioned the aubergine emoji was your favourite."
Seeing the funny side, William laughed and said: "Yes. Thank you for reminding me about that. It felt like the environment to do it, not for today maybe." Clarifying, Vick - who is married to Scottish DJ Calvin Harris - added: "That was the Radio 1 capacity. But yes, today is a very different setting."
After the clip was shared on social media, one user commented: "Love our Prince of Wales," cheekily followed by the aubergine emoji. Another wrote: "The real and best Prince." A third just laughed as they posted: "Will.. will . Will. Will. Hahahaha." While a fourth simply added: "Class."

It comes after it was revealed he is the new patron of We Are Farming Minds, a charity that aims to raise awareness of mental health care for farmers.
Though former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson's Diddly Squat Farm is in posh Chipping Norton in the Cotswolds, farmers gathered at Folly Farm in Pensford, Somerset to discuss some of the challenges currently faced by the industry. Among them were Clarkson's Farm stars Kaleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland.
Meeting the royal, joker Kaleb bravely greeted William by saying 'great hair' in reference to his thinning locks. Giving him banter back, the prince laughed and asked: "Is that your clean shirt?" before asking if his shoes were "the cleanest ones you've got?"
The future King later revealed that his 11-year-old son Prince George was a huge fan of Clarkson's Farm and would be tuning in. He joked: "You've got George watching now. I said to him 'What shall I say if I meet Kaleb?' He said 'Tell Kaleb to mind his language.'"
Potty mouthed Kaleb shared: "I did get told off for swearing too much… I tried to stop, but at the same time, it's awesome. That's what I like about the whole show… I’ve had so many people thank me, going 'you brought the family together'. It's a great feeling."
Also there was the BBC's new Countryfile presenter Vick Hope, who was recording a special mental health-focused episode for the show featuring the prince.
William congratulated her on her 'brilliant' new role with the programme, with radio star Vick saying it was "nice to spend time in nature".
