Joe Joyce and Filip Hrgovic are set to go head-to-head in a mouthwatering heavyweight dust-up in Manchester later this evening.
The 'Juggernaut's' career is potentially on the line as the 39-year-old has lost three of his last four fights. Having quickly worked his way up the ranks following wins over Daniel Dubois, Carlos Takam, Christian Hammer and Joseph Parker, Joyce suffered the first defeat of his professional career against Zhilei Zhang in April 2023. Five months later, he was brutally knocked out again by Zhang before getting back in the win column against Kash Ali. That said, he comes into the showdown off the back of a defeat to Derek Chisora last July.
As for Hrgovic, the Croatian brawler will prove to be a tough test for Joyce having established himself as a top heavyweight contender over the last few years. The 32-year-old has beaten the likes of Zhang, Demsey McKean and Mark de Mori, but is looking to get back to winning ways tonight after losing to Dubois in his last outing. And so, here's everything you need to know about tonight's fights...

Joe Joyce: “It’s a good fight, good entertainment. It’s good to be here and I expect a great performance,” he said. “It's good to share the ring with Hrgovic again. We had a good scrap last time, like 12 years ago. The same result is going to happen. I'm going to win and then get elevated back up to the top of the sport.”
Filip Hrgovic: “Yeah, it was short notice. I had just few weeks but, like I said, I was already in a good shape,” he said. “That's why I accepted this fight and I think it's good opportunity for me. This win, hopefully on Saturday, brings me back to the top. Motivation is big for sure and like I said, I want to come back to the top. Like Frank [Warren, the shows promoter] said in the beginning, the loser will be in a very bad position so I don't want to lose. I have a lot of motivation.”
