By selling through the commercial marketplace, you unlock access to Microsoft’s network of customers. The commercial marketplace expands your reach and helps you simplify the sales process so that customers can deploy your solution seamlessly.

To create offers in the Microsoft commercial marketplace, your organization first needs to become a Microsoft partner by agreeing to the Microsoft Partner Agreement and accepting the Publisher agreement.
To sign up to be a commercial marketplace publisher, go to Partner Center.

No, there's no cost to publish offers in Microsoft commercial marketplace. However, we do keep a small percentage of the sale as a transaction fee—which has been reduced from an industry-standard 20 percent to 3 percent.

After you sign up and accept the Publisher Agreement, you'll have access to the commercial marketplace page in Partner Center. This is where you create and manage offers and where you view analytics reports. Get more information.

For a solution to achieve co-sell-ready status, all partners must:
- Have a PartnerID (formerly MPNID) and an active commercial marketplace account in Partner Center.
- Have a complete business profile in Partner Center.
- Publish the offer on the commercial marketplace.
- Provide a sales contact for each co-sell-eligible geography.
- Provide the required listing and document information on the Co-sell > Solutions page.
Service partners must have at least one solution partner designation in the Microsoft Cloud Partner Program for Consulting Service solutions (aka Marketplace offers) of any solution type.
