Donna Jean (Baker) Hughes, age 78, left her earthly home on April 19, 2025.

Donna was born Sept. 23, 1946, on Church Street in Woodsfield, Ohio, to Paul (Don) Baker and Ruth (Stegner) Baker.

Donna enjoyed traveling, walking on the beach and her 1971 El Camino.

Donna was a retired Special Agent, traveling the U.S. for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, and enjoyed her job ensuring drive and vehicle safety on the public roadways.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Garnett Stegner, Homer and Zelda Baker; parents, Ruth (Stegner) Baker and Paul (Don) Baker; and sister, Cheryl Baker.

She is survived by brothers, Ronald (Butch) Baker and Donald (Bud) Baker; sisters, Debra Bowen and Ruth Workman; daughters, Patience Rush and Dee-Dee Keathley; son, Darrnell (Ray) Hughes; and grandchildren, Tyler Moody, Terry Keathley and Mackenzie Rush.

A Celebration of Life will be held for close friends and family at Woodsfield First United Methodist Church at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2025. Casual dress. Please refrain from sending flowers.
