On Nov. 13, Marshall Junior High School hosted a dedication for the Charlie Flowers Golf Course.
The Charlie Flowers Golf Course is located at Marshall Junior High and houses a golf simulator, putting greens and other golf equipment that allows Marshall Junior High School and Marshall High School students to perfect their golf skills and practice indoors during inclement weather.
This classroom was made possible through a donation by Charlie Flowers’ daughter and son-in-law, Penny and Steve Carlile. Charlie Flowers coached various sports at Marshall High School from 1947-1955. Coach Flowers was also an avid golfer.
